Calvin Okello, MS, B.A, PMP, ITIL, MSCA, MCITP
Calvin is a certified Project Management Professional and a member of the Professionals in humanitarian assistance and protection (PHAP). He has a B.A in Development studies (Moi University) and Master of Science degree in IT and Telecommunications Systems Management from Capitol Technology University, (MD).He has extensive training in executive data science, research methods and ITIL certification with over 10 years of diverse work experience in various projects in education, communication as well as international development programs.His interests include data analytics, virtual collaboration and(Kaizen) continuous improvement. He has provided leadership and oversight to project teams in Kenya, Rwanda, Malawi, Ghana and in USA and Canada through facilitating training in process improvements workshops, quality assurance assessments, project MEAL systems design, conducting household surveys, staff capacity building, monitoring, evaluation and provision of technical reporting on MNCH, gender, SRHR and nutrition programs. Calvin has spent years working among marginalized communities and is passionate about effective stakeholder engagements,performance optimization that result into positive behavior changes and impact, ensuring sustainability through quality and process improvements using Results Based Management on Global Affairs Canada (GAC) funded programs.
Thokozani Njoloma, MPH , Bsc.
Thokozani Njoloma is a MEAL expert with a strong background in project Management. She obtained Bsc. Nursing/Midwifery from the University of Malawi (2007), and later MPH Global Health (2016) at the University of Melbourne, Australia. As a trained Registered Nurse/Midwife, she worked in low income settings, providing primary health care including Midwifery services to patients in both hospital and community settings. For over ten years, she dedicated her career to program management in Sub Saharan Africa and Asia, particularly Malawi, Kenya, Rwanda, Swaziland, Philippines, Cambodia and Myanmar, where she designed, managed, monitored and evaluated development projects on Gender, MNCH, Nutrition, ASRHR, HIV and AIDS. She has extensive knowledge on research, data collection methodologies and MEAL system designing through which she designed MEAL frameworks, data collection tools, capacity building assessment tools and plans, MEAL policies and guidelines, project learning frameworks and data auditing tools. She is conversant with various data management software. She is an advocate of women’s rights and empowerment and believes in equipping the grassroots with knowledge and resources to problem solving. She has experience working with donors like UNFPA, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), USAID, UNICEF and Bill and Melinda foundation.
Diana Opollo, PhD, MSSW, RSW, BA, CDPM
Diana is an expert in Gender Equality and Social Inclusion. She obtained a BA in Psychology (2005), a Master of Science (MSW) (2007), and PhD in Social Work (2011), all from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). She has several years of experience lecturing courses in Research Methods, Statistics, Gender and Policy Studies at the University level and has worked on several projects as a Research Consultant with various organizations. Her interests include gender equality, program evaluation, gender-based violence (GBV), sexual exploitation & abuse (SEA) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She has conducted training in gender equality in both development and emergency contexts in several countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, and Rwanda and remotely for Niger, Venezuela, and Yemen. She is trained in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and has published several articles and presented in various conferences around the world. Diana has worked with diverse and marginalized populations from refugees, IDPs, to women and children in rural and urban slums. Her passion is aligned with working with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering women and girls for transformative and sustainable change. Diana is committed to enhancing effective, efficient, and quality service delivery through gender-sensitive and culturally appropriate and responsive policies and programs.
